Now that my holiday is getting closer and closer (and temperatures here are rising as well), it’s time to decide; bikini or one-piece. I usually go for the bikini, but there a so many great one-pieces that I’m doubting.
Nu mijn vakantie dichterbij komt (en het weer hier ook meewerkt), wordt het eens tijd om te kiezen; een bikini of badpak. Eigenlijk draag ik altijd een bikini, maar er zijn zoveel mooie badpakken, dat ik ben gaan twijfelen.
The one-piece is a great cover up if you don’t feel comfortable showing your belly anymore. And with these beauties…wow.
Het badpak is een geweldige uitvinding, vooral als je niet zo blij meer bent met je buik. En met deze prachtexemplaren … wow.
But on the other hand, in a bikini you get a nice overall tan (and a tan makes you look pounds lighter :) ). But make sure your bikini fits well. And from a D-cupsize and up, I’d say also buy your bikini with a cup size. My favorite brands for cupsized bikinis are Freya (up to a G cup), Aubade and Huit. These brands offer bikinis that have a great fit. Also Seafolly is a favorite off mine, as you can buy the top and bottom seperately and mix and match with the different models they offer.
And.. unless you have a body like Heidi Klum, beware of the small bottoms. Not a pretty sight at all, when only half of your bottom is covered..
Maar aan de andere kant, in een bikini wordt je wel al over bruin (en met een lekker kleurtje lijk je stukken lichter :) ). Maar zorg er wel voor dat je bikini goed past. En als je een cupmmaat D of meer hebt, zou ik altijd voor een bikini met cupmaat gaan. Er zijn zoveel mooie merken die deze bikini’s verkopen. Mijn favorieten zijn de bikini’s van Freya (t/m een G-cup), Aubade en Huit. Naast de tops met cupmaten hebben de bikini’s ook een geweldige pasvorm. Seafolly is ook een favoriet van mij, je kunt zelf kiezen uit de verschillende modellen tops en broekjes, zodat je je eigen bikini kunt samenstellen.
En.. tenzij je een lijf hebt a la Heidi Klum, pas op voor het te kleine bikinibroekje. Het ziet er echt niet charming uit als maar de helft van je billen bedekt is…
