Speaking about denim. I wanted to do this for a long time, but never had the courage to do so. Bleaching a jeans. But i didn’t wear this 80′s -looking stonewashed jeans anymore. So i gave it a try…,
Over denim gesproken. Ik wilde het al veel langer doen, maar durfde telkens niet. Het bleken van een jeans. Maar ik droeg deze broek nauwelijks meer omdat ik de wassing niet echt mooi meer vond (teveel 80′er jaren, stonewashed look), dus heb ik een poging gewaagd…..,
I put the jeans in a bucket full of bleach and water (proportion 1:5) and left it there for about an hour or so. After a while i looked and wasn’t too pleased about the result: it wasn’t a solid color, but more a kind of tye dye look . Obviously that was the result of squeezing the jeans in a much too tiny bucket…. Well, anyways, i put the jeans in a bath where it had the space to soak thoroughly for another two hours.
Ik liet een emmer vollopen met chloor en water (verhouding 1:5) en liet de jeans een uurtje staan. Tot mijn schrik werd het geen egaal resultaat maar meer een tye dye effect. Logisch want ik had de jeans natuurlijk in die emmer gepropt. Snel het bad laten vollopen, opnieuw veel chloor erbij, en toen de jeans nog twee uurtjes laten weken.
Love the result! Still a bit tye dye, but i really like the lighter color. Maybe i’ll bleach it one more time, to make it even more lighter. But for now it’s just fine. I’ll show you a complete outfit picture real soon. Promised!
En ik vind het resultaat top! Nog steeds een beetje tye dye, maar dat maakt me niet uit. Misschien ga ik de jeans nogmaals bleken, voor een nog lichter resultaat. Maar voor nu is het helemaal perfect. Ik laat je snel een paar outfit foto’s zien. Beloofd!
