Yesterday was such a nice day, sunny and a great temperature. And the best news… it was my day of! So what to wear, after all these rainy days? Well, something short and sleeveless I guess.

The last couple of days (or should I say weeks) are a disaster when it comes to the weather. My shorts, summerdresses and sleeveles tops haven’t been touched for ages. I guess we all are fed up with wearing our last years fall or even winter wardrobe, again… Well, me too, but I’m trying some combinations with the more timeless pieces of my wardrobe and this is one of them.
De laatste dagen (of beter gezegd weken) zijn dramatisch op weergebied. Mijn shorts, zomerjurkjes en topjes zijn voor mijn gevoel, echt in geen eeuwen de kast uit geweest. Volgens mij is iedereen zo klaar met het dragen van truien, laarzen en jeans van de afgelopen herfst- of zelfs wintercollectie… Ik in ieder geval wel, maar ik probeer toch maar weer wat combinaties te maken met de wat tijdlozere stukken uit mijn kast. Dit is daar een van.
Although this is not the most flattering picture of Carine Roitfeld (better pics here…), I do love the outfit. Almost every time she manages to create great outfits. Like this one. I’ve checked where to get the look.
Ook al is dit niet de meest flatteuze foto van Carine Roitfeld (betere foto’s hier…), ik vind de outfit wel heel mooi. Bijna altijd slaagt ze erin om mooie combi’s te maken en goede outfits samen te stellen. Check waar je deze look kunt vinden.
A quickie today. This is what i was wearing to the office. My black tracking pants from Filippa K is really comfortable with this warm weather. And with high heels it’s all dressed up…
Vandaag houd ik het kort. Dit had ik aan naar kantoor. M’n broek van Filippa K is echt heel comfortabel met dit warme weer. En met hoge hakken is de sportieve look van de broek omgetoverd tot ‘kantoor-proof’…
Yep, i’ve added a new skinny to my wardrobe. I just can’t get enough of them. Leather or denim. In Black, Grey, Blue, White, Pink, Red, Yellow, Mintgreen, Animal prints…and now a snake one.
Ja hoor, weer een nieuwe skinny! Ik krijg er maar niet genoeg van. Leer, denim, in zwart, grijs, blauw, wit, roze, rood, geel, mintgroen en allerlei dierenprints….en dan nu ook eentje in slangenprint!
So right now they are back in my closet again, every single item of the outfits I’m gonna show you (except the bag :))… Miss them already and really want to wear them again. I’m afraid though, that I have to wait for my next sunny destination in August before they can leave my closet again.
Helaas alweer opgeborgen in mijn kast,echt alles wat ik draag op de volgende foto’s (behalve de tas :)). Zou ze heel graag weer aan willen, maar ik ben bang dat ik echt moet wachten tot ik naar mijn volgende zonnige bestemming vertrek, in augustus.
Today is the longest day of the year! I hope we will be able to ”celebrate” it with a beautiful sundown, whilst enjoying a nice dinner and some wine.
